brands rarely break on the logo. they break on the decisions.

Every brand launches coherent. Then it grows. New hires who weren't there at the start, new markets each sure they're the exception, new channels and agencies all interpreting. Everyone makes creative calls; no one owns the system. Within a year the brandbook is a forgotten file in a digital drawer, and the brand a loose collection of dialects. The identity was never the real problem. The absence of a way to decide was.

Where a brand sits, what it stands for, and the narrative that makes it understandable. The work starts before positioning, in research and immersion: quali and quant studies, insight hunts and facilitated discovery workshops. From there comes the strategic foundation, the position the brand wants to own, the architecture that keeps its parts consistent, and the narrative that tells that story the right way, connected to its audience.

Aline Nitro is a brand and creative strategist working across strategy, identity, communication, education and creative governance.

She has led brand work from inside high-growth companies, built creative education programmes, and co-founded NoBull, a studio for brands that need strategy and execution to move together.

Before NoBull, she led branding and communications at Liv Up through scale-up, ran Brazilian content and curation at Domestika, and produced D&AD Shift São Paulo, a free industry-led programme for self-taught creative talent.

She is also a cultural producer, with close to two decades of experience producing cultural projects rooted in urban cultures, work that has always informed how she reads brand, culture and context.

She works with technology and AI systems as everyday tools, using them to make creative processes faster, more measurable and less dependent on opinion.

Based in São Paulo, working in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
